Maxfield eventually found his way to Ridgefield, New Jersey, where his home became the headquarters for the Country Sketch Club.

At the end of the day, Mr. Mecke retrieved the sheets from his waste basket, believing they were of historical significance.
The John F. Kennedy Assassination Teletype Messages contains 61 broad sheet paper tape printouts, as well as the clipboard Mr. Mecke used to store them.
