The Ken Wallace, Sr. Photograph Collection contains black-and-white photographic prints and negatives ranging in size from 4x5 to 8x10 inches. Of note are images of the Buick factory; an Armistice Day parade in Flint; a family vacation; and local firemen with Christmas toys they gathered for needy children. They added locations throughout the 1980s, and eventually the whole family became involved. In 1996 they moved into their newest location, a 12,000 square for shopping center location. Simultaneously, the Snyder opened their Hallmark Ornament Museum, where they showcased ornaments collected since 1978. Collecting continued until 2009, and the store remained open until 2019. The archival collection includes framed news clippings and prints showcasing the Snyder's, their museum, and some of the artists hosted at the store in the 1990s and early 2000s. He developed a Stabilator to be used to create a more comfortable ride in automobiles by slowing down the recoil of the car springs. Watson was also the original owner of the 1931 Duesenberg Model J Convertible Victoria that is currently in the collections of The Henry Ford (Object ID 62.9.2). The John Warren Watson Duesenberg and Stabilator Collection contains two automobile registrations for the Duesenberg, from 1931 and 1941; 3 photographic prints and 2 photographic slides of the vehicle; 7 pieces of Stabilator product literature; 3 Stabilator parts and service manuals; 5 photographic prints showing the Stabilator attached to a vehicle, as well as product advertising; and one photographic print of a 1904 Autocar.
