 Abstract:  Consists largely or photographs with some manuals or brochures, correspondence and specifications and one mock-up scale model (THF Object ID 74.215.1) of military vehicles designed for use by U.S. armed forces, but apparently never accepted. Includes the following vehicles: M-151, tanks, tactical trucks, utility vehicles, self-propelled howitzer, 1/4 ton load carrying device, Cummins Diesels, Fruehauf military products, Canadian Dynatrac, gas turbine engine.

 Abstract:  The Henry Ford, Edsel Ford, and Thomas Edison Related Audio Recordings contains two audiocassettes, with two reproduced recordings on each, from the Vincent Voice Library at Michigan State University. The first cassette contains a speech by Henry Ford while he was campaigning for Herbert Hoover in 1932, in which Hoover is compared to Abraham Lincoln, and Edsel Ford predicting a good sales year for Ford cars in 1934-1935. The second audiocassette features Thomas Edison delivering a speech at Light's Golden Jubilee in Greenfield Village in 1929 and an undated speech in when Henry Ford praises McGuffey Readers and William Holmes McGuffey. The collection also includes printouts from the MSU Libraries catalog describing each recording. Extent: 0.2 cubic ft. (1 box). The collection is open for research and use copies of the recordings are available.

 Abstract:  The records consist of patent applications, primarily assigned to Henry Ford and dated 1923-1950, that were issued or in some cases either never filed or abandoned. At least one of the applications was assigned to Edsel B. Ford. Material includes application forms, drawings, photographs, internal and external communications, sketches, and notes. A small amount of the material (approximately 0.25 cubic ft. and dated 1931-1964) consists of patent and trade mark information related to the Ford Motor Company Johansson Gage Block Division.

 Abstract:  The Ford Rotunda was used for many purposes, including exhibit space and office space, from 1934 until it was destroyed by a fire in 1962. The Ford Rotunda Lantern Slides series contains glass lantern slides documenting Ford Motor Company's activities at the Rotunda building.

 Abstract:  Contains releases, serial and non-serial imprints, photographs, manuals, catalogs, specifications, photographs, etc., which are of historical nature and no longer being distributed to the public in answer to the general requests. For the most part, these files duplicate Accession 536 materials, since they represent the distribution supply left when the Public Relations Files were closed in August 1955. Since almost all of this material represents bulk duplication, the files were weeded, and 4 document boxes of Non-Serial imprints, 1 box of serial imprints, and 17 document boxes of manuals, catalogs, specifications, ads, press packets, etc., were retained to augment our files. 14 document boxes of photographs retained to augment our supply.
