Jacoby worked in several cities including Indianapolis, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and in Detroit for the Detroit News and WWJ Radio. In addition to his engineering work Jacoby organized a number of "Give A Radio" campaigns which collected and donated radios to shut-ins and disaster relief efforts. The nine scrapbooks contain clippings, photographs, scripts, and correspondence describing Jacoby's career in radio and later as a publicist.
