	Abstract:	Dr. Alonson Bingley Howard (1823-1883) was a country physician in mid-l9th century Michigan, and conducted his medical practice in a building located on his property, Windfall Farm. This building was moved to Greenfield Village between late 1959 and 1961. Included in the collection are account books, medicinal recipes, correspondence and receipts reflecting the medical practice and personal affairs of Dr. Howard.

	Abstract:	The Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts, was purchased and restored by Henry Ford in 1923. The series includes documentation of the Inn's history and of its original owners, the Howe family; the purchase by Henry Ford; the restoration and renovation process; material relating to the Inn's operation; diaries maintained for schools and shops; and papers relating to the nursery rhyme "Mary Had a Little Lamb."

	Abstract:	Henry and Clara Ford lived in a succession of fourteen homes, the last of which, Fair Lane, was constructed on the shores of their Rouge River estate in 1915. The Fair Lane papers contain documents representing the Fords' busy and complex lives assembled from the rooms of the mansion after Clara died in 1950.

	Abstract:	Originally started by Ford Motor Company archivists to house and administer collections deemed too small to be described individually, the bulk of the Small Accession collection was donated to The Henry Ford in the 1964 donation (the first and largest transfer of archives from Ford Motor Company to The Henry Ford) and the practice was continued by Edison Institute staff.
