 Abstract:  In 1954, Columbia University historian Allan Nevins in collaboration with Frank Ernest Hill published the first volume of a comprehensive history of Henry Ford and his automobile company. The series is comprised primarily of original documents that were selected between 1952 and 1954 from accessions held by the Ford Motor Company Archives for research use in the three volume Nevins and Hill history of the company.
