 Abstract:  The Robins Papers consist of business related and personal correspondence between friends and relatives of James B. Robins of Wilcox County, Alabama. Some of the letters discuss the death of James' brother and financial settlements of the estate with nephews Josiah and Samuel Robins. Of particular interest 1s a letter dealing with the sale of black slaves valued at twenty thousand dollars.
