 Abstract:  Accession 1664 consists of two standards manuals. The manuals were designed to establish standards for uniform drafting room practice and to avoid confusion in the shops. They were issued to individual draftsmen who were then held responsible for the proper use of the standards. The holder was expected to return the manuals to the department head upon transfer or termination.
