It is assumed that Lelia Gibson took the photographs, assembled the album, and captioned the album pages. The snapshots, thought to date between 1919 and 1921, are primarily of various tourist spots along the Potomac River and in nearby areas of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Other locations include Florida, Yellowstone National Park, and Glacier National Park. The album also includes images of President Warren G. Black, who was selected by Edsel Ford to organize the Ford Motor Company exhibit at the Exposition, and who appears in many of the images. Prior to that assignment, Black had served as Editor of the Dearborn Independent and head of the Ford Advertising Department.
